Casey-Lee Lyons is a Queensland based nutritionist and naturopath, recipe developer and founder of the health and wellness brand Live Love Nourish. Casey-lee is passionate about inspiring others to make healthy, whole food choices that nourish their body and specialises in expert nutrition and lifestyle advice, nutritionally designed recipes and the Live Love Nourish signature 8-Week Program.   

Casey-Lee's refreshing approach to nutrition has helped many people improve their health, increase energy, find their natural weight, improve gut and digestive health, balance hormones and heal cravings, develop a healthy and positive relationship with food whilst sharing ways cook simple and healthy meals with wholesome food.

Casey-Lee is an industry influencer in holistic health and wellness and is passionate about inspiring others to live and feel their healthiest and best self through nutrition and lifestyle advice and simple and delicious whole food recipes. 

As a qualified Nutritionist and Naturopath I am most passionate about health and wellbeing. My mission is to educate and inspire others to love and nourish their body from the inside out to achieve health and happiness. 

I am based in Brisbane, Australia and specialise in holistic nutrition. My holistic approach to wellbeing encompasses diet, lifestyle and our relationship with ourselves and our body, nourishing the body, mind and soul by providing practical nutrition and lifestyle advice for you to feel your healthiest and best self. 

I love to develop whole food recipes that “love your body back” promoting optimal nutrition for a healthy and energised life. As a mum to a beautiful toddler as well as a business owner I understand how important it is to keep healthy eating simple and achievable to support your lifestyle.

Nourishing from the inside out

My food philosophy starts from within. When you establish a healthy relationship with food and begin to love yourself enough to fuel your body with foods that nourish and promote true wellbeing you propel your body towards better health, wellness and an energised, happy life.

Eating healthy doesn't need to be complicated or confusing. My aim is to make healthy eating simple and fun with real food recipes that are nutritionally designed to help you feel your best. 

My food philosophy is to:

  • Nourish your body with nutrient-rich whole foods that love your body back
  • Enjoying simple, nutritious and delicious meals (without stress or complicated cooking) 
  • Choosing foods that nourish and leave you feeling your best and vibrant self
  • Keeping healthy eating simple and achievable 
  • Quitting diets and fads
  • Turning inwards and listening to the wisdom of your own body to find a diet that is best for you
  • Eat foods as close to their natural state as possible 
  • Avoid sugar and refined grains (such as gluten) 
  • Avoid artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything you can't pronounce (except quinoa ;) )
  • Choose high quality protein sources 
  • Nourish with plenty of good fats 
  • Plenty of green and colourful vegetables 
  • Limit high fructose fruits 
  • Source local and organic where you can 
  • Hydrate with plenty of water 
  • Eat intuitively, with intention

My Story

Having been within the health and fitness industry for many years I have seen the many fads and diet trends, confusing advice and experienced the many pressures to look a certain way or feeling like we should or shouldn't be eating this or that. By unsubscribing from everyone else’s view of ‘healthy’ and letting go what I thought was my ‘ideal’ body image and instead trusting my own body, listening to its unique needs and experimenting with what worked best for me or not, I found my way of nourishing my body that gives me energy, glowing skin, balanced hormones, a happy digestive system, a healthy and natural weight and one that leaves me feeling happy and at my best.

From the outside, my body may not be “perfect” but on the inside, I am healthy, I am happy and I feel free to be me. I have learned to love that my body is unique, that my healthiest body shape and size isn’t the media’s perception of the perfect body but rather my healthiest and natural weight is also unique to me.

What I have learned through my nutrition and naturopathic studies, my experience with clients and and through my own personal journey is that a healthy body begins with a healthy relationship with yourself first, and that we need to adjust our approach from the outside in and rather finding true health and wellbeing from within. 

We need to turn inwards and begin to change our mindset from a perfect body image or a perfect diet to aiming for health, happiness and balance. There is no one diet that suits all and one of the greatest tools we can learn is to tune in to our own body and learn and discover what works best for ourselves to allow us to feel our best.  It is by listening to your own body you can find a diet that is best for you and your unique nutritional needs.

When we approach health from the inside out and shift our focus from diets, counting calories, restrictive eating, ‘good and bad’ foods to a focus on nourishing our body and choosing foods based on how they make you feel, you begin to heal your relationship with food and rediscover a refreshing and empowering relationship with yourself that rewards you with health, happiness, energy, a healthy weight and feeling great.

Now as a mum with a toddler, I appreciate more than ever how busy life can get yet how important it is to look after ourselves. Together with my professional and personal experience I hope to offer practical and achievable advice to help you to feel your healthiest whether you are a busy parent, corporate worker, business owner or student. 

Through applying what I have learned in my health studies and learning to listen to and trust my body I have gained much health, happiness and freedom. I hope to help you reconnect within, share practical and nutritional guidance and lifestyle tips to help you to discover an approach to your health that will also reward you with health, wellness and joy.
