Chocolate Avocado Mousse

  • In a blender(I use a Vitamix), food processor or stick blender with attachment, combine all ingredients until smooth, scraping down sides occasionally. 
  • Serve chilled. 

Notes

Make it Personal:
  • Use carob powder instead of cacao powder (good for kids).
  • Serve your chilled mousse with toasted Shredded Coconut, chopped nuts and seeds, Cacao Nibs or even fresh berries.
Recipe Tips:
  • The creamier your avocado the better your results. Make sure you use a ripe avocado as an unripened avocado wont produce the same creamy results.
  • You can also blend in coconut yoghurt or coconut cream for a thick, creamy texture.
Sensitive to FODMAPs?
  • Stick to 1/4 avocado per serve.
  • Opt for maple syrup or liquid stevia instead of honey.
